An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts)from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The supply teachers will be based at Our Lady of Good Counsel BNS and will fill in short-term absences over approx twenty schools in the local area in a variety of settings. It will be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of settings: junior, senior and vertical schools; mainstream and special schools and Gaelscoil. All teachers on the panel will be assigned to all schools in the cluster.
There will be no opportunity to complete Droichead in this role.
Supply teachers will be eligible to apply for travel expenses (circular 09/2015)
Canvassing will disqualify.
Interviews will be held in the school in a safe compliant manner. The short-listed candidates will be contacted by email re Interview date.
