An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is for a permanent full time post. Appointment will be subject to Vetting requirements as detailed in DES Circular 0031/2016 & Occupational Health Screening.
Askeaton S.N.S. is a mainstream school with one ASD class.
This post is for an ASD class.
Relevant QQI/ FETAC qualification is essential.
Experience in working with children with ASD in a mainstream or special class setting along with other relevant qualifications /courses is highly desirable.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form PF1 with their application.

Short-listing may apply. The position commences on 26/08/21 but the successful candidate must be available for 1 Croke Park Day commencing 25/08/21.
