An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The supply teachers will be based at St Brigid's Infant School and will fill in short-term absences over approx twenty schools in the local area. Most of the schools are DEIS schools. It will be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of settings: junior, senior and vertical schools; mainstream and special schools, mainstream, ASD, Early Start and ASD Early Intervention classes, Gaelscoil. All teachers on the panel will be assigned to all schools in the cluster.
There will be no opportunity to complete Droichead in this role.
Supply teachers will be eligible to apply for travel expenses (circular 09/2015)
Canvassing will disqualify.
Interviews will be held on Monday 23 August at the school in a safe compliant manner. The short-listed candidates will be contacted by phone before the interview.
