An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Chormaic is a special school which provides educational provision for children with Mild General Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (aged 3-18yrs)
The teaching positions are in our ASD primary section of the school.
Experience of teaching children with a diagnosis of ASD is highly desirable. The positions are open to candidates with a primary teaching qualification. Some pupils present with behaviours that challenge and adequate and relevant experience dealing with such behaviours is desirable. The interview process will be used to fill any fixed term and specific purpose contracts for 2021/2022 which may arise within a 4 month period.
