An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The filling of these posts is subject to the posts not being required for the main panel redeployment process.
Two Primary Teachers required for 2 temporary teaching positions to cover four teachers on job-sharing. One teacher also required for a fixed-term teaching position commencing in October 2021 to cover maternity leave. St. Francis Special School provides education for Pupils aged 4 - 18 with Moderate or Severe / Profound Learning Disabilities. Duties to include teaching Pupils with special educational needs which may initially be a class for Pupils with multiple disabilities or a class for Pupils on the autistic spectrum or a Class for Pupils with severe / profound disabilities. Some Pupils present with behaviours that are challenging and adequate and relevant experience of dealing with such behaviours is desirable. It should, however, be noted that teaching duties are subject to change during the course of the appointee's employment. The appointments will be subject to current Vetting requirements.
