An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a fixed term position for one year due to a career break.
Setanta is a school for students aged 12 to 18 with ASD and a mild or moderate learning disability.We follow the primary curriculum as well as Junior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Programmes (L1LP & L2LP). Setanta School employs both primary and secondary teachers.
Experience with special needs, especially ASD, an advantage. The ability to work as part of a team essential. The HSE is Patron of the school.
