An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications are invited for the position of Bus Escort to accompany a child with ASD on their journey by taxi to and from school.

The hours of work will be as follows:
Monday to Friday: 8.45 – 9.05 am and 12 – 12.20 pm

The hourly rate of pay will be €13.88 (inclusive of holiday pay). Bus Escorts are not paid during school holidays. The escort must have their own transport to and from the drop-off point, in this case, from Lucan East ETNS.

Experience in working with children with ASD is desirable. The person appointed will ideally hold an appropriate qualification (FETAC award or equivalent). Start date is subject to Garda Vetting procedures.
