St Joseph’s is designated as a Special School for students aged 5-18 years of age with Mild general Learning Disabilities and associated disabilities such as ASD, Down Syndrome and ADHD. Some of students have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This is for a senior class aged between 15-16 years of age. Students are currently working on the Level 2 Junior Cycyle.Experience in a special school environment or SET would be desirable but not essential. Experience of working with students with ASD and/or Challenging Behaviour would also be desirable but not essential.
