An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is 25 hours per week. The successful applicant must be able to work the hours during the times as agreed by the Principal / BOM.
The Job Description entails the following duties (this is not an exhaustive list):
General maintenance and repairs to both interior/exterior of building and grounds e.g : grass cutting, strimming, weeding hedge cutting, painting, organising classrooms, maintaining equipment, waste management, monitoring the building, opening and closing for various events, ensuring that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly, making sure that windows and doors are locked when the building is not in use. Candidates should have practical DIY Skills in order to carry out minor repairs.
Duties will change in accordance with the needs of the school. Candidate must be flexible and work off own initiative.
Manual Handling Course, Children First E Learning Programme and Garda Vetting essential before job commences.
