Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The teacher will cover principal release days in 11 schools mainly in the South Roscommon/East Galway area. Must have a full clean driving licence as the post involves travel to schools (travel expenses are payable)
Must be fully probated and have full Teaching Council registration.
The successful candidate must have teaching experience at all class levels and have a good knowledge of special education. Experience in various settings is also essential including infants, multi-grade and SET.
Good classroom management skills, management of discipline and flexibility are essential skills for this position.
