IT Teacher
Description:
Teacher required to a teach a range of IT subjects (City & Guilds Level 5 + 6) on the following programme:
ICT Associate Professional Apprenticeship - Software Developer (FIT)
Part-time position- starting in November 2019
Requirements:
• Qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent degree at NFQ Level 7 or above
• Registered with the Teaching Council
• Experience of teaching or training in further or adult education
• The successful candidate will be quality driven and accountable with strong subject matter expertise and excellent oral and written communication skills
The successful candidate should have current Garda Vetting clearance (i.e. from 1st Jan. 2018) before he/she can take up duty
Co-ordinating body: FIT (Fastrack to Information Technology)
Awarding body: City & Guilds L .5 & L. 6
All appointments are subject to assessment, confirmation, and approval of academic qualifications for the jobs as advertised, confirmation of Teaching Council registration, confirmation of medical fitness to work and final sign off by the Chief Executive, City of Dublin Education and Training Board.
