An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

These are two temporary SNA posts subject to the schools requirements for and as determined by the NCSE and the Department for Education and Skills. The two posts arise from a job share and are fixed term contracts for the remainder of this school year. St Clare’s school caters for pupils aged 4 – 18
Years with moderate or severe/profound learning difficulties. We also cater for some students with autism. We have a highly trained staff team.

Visits to the school are very welcome and can be arranged by contacting the Principal John F Murphy on 0868337242. These posts are for two delightful classes of 6 learners at the lower and middle end of the school.

Experience of working in a special school setting. Working as part of a team providing care needs, ie toileting, feeding and using hoists.
