An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

ABACAS Kilbarrack Special School is an evidence based school for children with Autism and complex needs. We have 50 students ranging in age from 3-18 years. We value individualised, evidence based education, early intervention and assessment. A post in ABACAS Kilbarrack is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to work as part of a dedicated team of highly qualified and motivated teachers and SNA's. Staff interact with professionals from multi-disciplinary teams delivering individualised evidence based education.

Experience working with children with autism is essential, preferably in an educational setting. Background or experience in ABA is an advantage.
