An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This vacancy is a one year full time substitute/ cover SNA post.
Supplementary assignment panel procedures do not apply to the filling of substitute/cover vacancies.

Experience of working with children with various additional needs such as ASD, social and communication difficulties, emotional and behavioural difficulties and ADHD in both mainstream and Special Class settings is desirable. Skills to support the inclusion of children with special needs with their peers is essential.
