An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applicants who are deemed to be on the SNA supplementary panel must include a certified copy of the Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application.
Duties include providing care-needs support for pupils with special educational needs. Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0030/2019. A level 5 qualification in Special Needs Assistant training or Childcare is desirable.
Applicants are subject to the checking and verification of references, satisfactory Garda Vetting and meeting any Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
