Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The fixed term vacancies are for 2 mainstream classroom teaching positions.
There is also a strong possibility of specific term contracts e.g. maternity positions arising during the 4 month panel period from the approval of the BOM of the successful candidates at the initial interview.
Full probation desirable. However, Saleian PS is a DROICHEAD school with an established in-school Professional Support Team who have successful experience in the supportive induction of NQTs.
Experience of teaching children with special educational needs in a mainstream setting desirable.
Evidence of qualification to teach Religion essential.
Experience of teaching in an infant classroom is desirable for one of the fixed term positions.
Tusla Child Protection training certificate is desirable.
Appointment is subject to current Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
Willingness to get involved in the life of the school essential.
