An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh is a mixed primary school based in Cobh, Co. Cork. The school has an administrative principal and deputy principal. There are 24 mainstream classes along with 4 special classes for children with autism.

The school has a long record of both sporting and cultural achievements, which the Board credits to the staff and parents of the school.

Applicants with a strong work ethic, who can multi-task, manage a varied timetable and who can work to their own initiative are invited to apply for the posts.

Applicants will be expected to collaborate with all members of staff for the development of the whole school and to maximise each child’s chance of success.

Staff are encouraged to share their own skills and talents beyond teaching hours also be it in relation to children’s learning, extra-curricular activities or whole school development.

There are 3 x part time posts available (infant hours), plus 2 x substitute roles and 1 x job share (split week).
