An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position advertised is for an infant day SNA post (0.83 post)
The successful candidate will be expected to exhibit the following-
Competence, understanding and experience of working with children with ASD, complex needs and challenging behaviour,
Willingness to administer medication and address personal care needs,
Willingness to undertake further training.
The successful candidate should also have competed/will be required to complete Manual Handling training and TUSLA Child Protection training.
Enclose Form PF1 where applicable.
