An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are a school for children from primary age up to 18 who have a dual-diagnosis of Autism and a General Learning Difficulty with additional needs such as anxiety disorders and sensory processing difficulties. Most of our students would be non-verbal. We are looking for applicants with experience of Autism and who are willing to be flexible, innovative and work in close collaboration with others in supporting our students, in a dynamic, busy environment. Foxfield Special School has been allocated Secondary-Topped Status by the DES, therefore, both primary and secondary teachers are welcome to apply. We are a Droichead School.
