Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is for 0.83 of a post (25.56 hrs. Infant Day) and is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a copy of the completed Panel Form PF1 with their application.
Appointment is subject to current vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the on line TUSLA Child Safeguarding training.
Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Willingness to participate in extra-curricular and whole-school activities is desired.
The position may involve working in a special class for children with ASD therefore experience in such a setting would be highly desirable.
