An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Powerstown ETNS is seeking 2 Special Needs Assistants - one full time (32 hours per week) and one part-time (0.83 of a post / 26.5 hours per week). We are seeking highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic staff , who have experience and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviours. Applicants must be willing, and demonstrate capabilities, to work in both mainstream and special class settings. All SNAs must complete Croke Park hours as outlined by the Dept of Education Circular 71/2011. Willingness to participate in extra-curricular and whole-school activities is desired.
