An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Holy Family is a designated special school which caters for pupils aged 3 in the early intervention classes to age 18 at Post Primary. The mainstream curriculum is followed in all classes with differentiation made for our deaf students. There is no requirement for candidates to have qualifications in Deaf Education or Irish Sign Language but an interest in working with deaf children and those with additional complex need is essential. Support will be given to the successful candidates.
