This is a teaching Principal position. As this is a Catholic School, applicants must have a certificate to teach R.E.

In addition, the following skills experience and knowledge are desirable: Previous experience in a DEIS school; Previous teaching experience in a multi-grade school; Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development; Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting); Proven ability to work as a member of a team; Excellent communication skills; Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload; Proven leadership skills; Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives; An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school; Previous experience in DEIS planning & policy development.

Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.

Envelopes should be clearly marked 'Principal Teacher Application'.

A minimum of 3 eligible applications are required for this competition to proceed.
