An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Teacher required to teach 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th (15 children) to initially cover Maternity Leave. This will be then followed by Parental Leave.

Experience of multi grade teaching would give strong advantage. We are a digital and sporting school - expertise in these areas should be noted in application.

School is just over 10 minutes drive from Sligo town, under 10 minutes drive from Dromahair village and 10 mins to Manorhamilton.

Leckaun National School is a warm and welcoming school, with a small but friendly staff team. Our school hours are 9.10 a.m. to 2.50 p.m.
