An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are recruiting for one (possibly two) full year substitute positions from 29th August 2018 to 28th June 2019. Successful candidates may be assigned to a mainstream or support teaching position – the final decision on assignment will be determined in line with school needs & priorities.

Lucan East ETNS is a Droichead school and the successful applicant will undergo the droichead process if he/she is coming directly from college

Successful candidates may be asked to assist in the outreach class at some time during the year.

Successful candidates will need up-to-date Garda vetting, a Statutory Declaration and be registered with the Teaching Council.

Application closing time is 2 pm on 22/08/2018. Candidates being called for interview will be invited via email on the evening of 22/08/2018. Interviews may be held on 26th, 27th, 28th or 29th August 2018.
