A panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a four month period from the date on which the Board
approves
the successful candidate.
These are temporary Special Class Teacher posts subject to the schools requirements and as determined by the NCSE and the Department
For
Education and Skills. The two posts arise from a career break and a secondment and are fixed term contracts for one school year. St Gabriel's school caters for pupils aged 4 – 18
years who experience multiple disabilities. Details of 4 referees, 2 professional and 2 personal to be included. Please mark envelope Class
Teacher
Application. Details of Garda Vetting should also be provided and Teaching Council registration. Standard Application form for teaching
posts. Teaching
experience in a Special School Setting desirable.
Visits to the school are very welcome and can be arranged by contacting the Principal John F Murphy on 0877156157. These posts are
for two delightful classes of 6 learners at the lower end of the school with support from two SNA’s in each room in a modern purpose built space. The
posts are vacant from 31st August 2018. St Gabriel’s school is participating in the Droichead process with trained PST members.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted by email and text so please ensure that these details are up to date and correct. Interviews will be held the week of 9th July 2018.
