Ballinahinch National School is a Catholic school based in a rural setting. As a Catholic School, applicants for this position must have a Certificate to teach R.E. This is a Teaching Principal post. The following skills are desirable:
• Previous teaching experience across a range of classes;
• Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development;
• Evidence of experience in managing people (in any setting);
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload;
• Proven Leadership Skills;
• Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives;
• Previous experience of school policy development;
• An understanding of, and commitment to, the ethos of a Catholic School and inclusiveness.
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.
