Post: Administrative Principal, St. Michael’s House Special National School Skerries
St. Michael’s House Special National School Skerries is recruiting an Administrative Principal to provide leadership for 30 pupils with a moderate general learning disability and complex needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in special education and will provide a high standard of leadership to the school’s team and will have a keen interest in continually developing the educational opportunities and support needs for pupils with special needs.
Evidence of continuing relevant professional development is required, as well as proven ability in leading curriculum planning, school evaluation and policy development.
The position is permanent. Applications must be received by post by 26/03/2018. Please supply 3 unbound signed copies of the Standard Application form for Principalship together with a letter of application to the above address.
A minimum of 3 applications are required for the competition to proceed. Applicants must be fully registered under Regulation 2 (Primary), 3 (Montessori and other Categories) or 4 (Post Primary) with Teaching Council and have 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary school or post primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
