In addition the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
Previous experience as a teaching principal,
Experience in management or in a leadership role,
Experience of teaching in a multi class situation,
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development,
Liofacht agus suim ar leith sa Ghaeilge,
Good communication and organisational skills,
An interest and understanding of the importance of local culture,
Commitment to promoting participation in sport and music.
