PE teacher required for St Catherine's Special School.
St. Catherine's Special School is a co-educational special school that caters for children from 4-18 years. We cater for a range of children with special needs including Autism, Moderate General Learning Difficulties and Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties with complex needs .
The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience teaching pupils who have Moderate GLD, Severe and Profound GLD, ASD or EBD
-Additional qualifications in Special Education or Early Childhood Education eg Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education or Autism
-Training in, and experience of using, PECS, LAMH, TEACCH, ABA, Social Stories, ABLLS, AFLS, Augmentative Communication Devices, Behaviour Management or MAPA
This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
