Would you like something different? Do you enjoy a challenge? Come and join our great team of staff and pupils.
We are a Special School for Moderate/ Severe/Profound GLD and Autism. We require a Home Economics teacher for 1 day a week. Either a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Some of our students are starting Junior Cycle Level 2 from September. Others will start Junior Cycle Level 1 when it is available. Home Economics is a very important part of our curriculum to develop independence skills. You will work one to one or a small group. You will be given full support. We have only 19 post primary pupils at the moment.
Knowledge of Lámh and/or PECS.would be useful. Further training in behaviours that challenge, First Aid and Manual Handling will also be offered.
