An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 8th June 2017 for teachers listed on the Supplementary panel for the Diocese of Limerick. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 15th June 2017. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant supplementary panel was extended by advertisement on this website to 16th June 2017. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition. Previous experience or working with children with special needs desirable. The duties of this post are that of a Special Class Teacher initially, however may be subject to change.
