An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 13th July 2017 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Limerick. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was 18th July 2017. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 21st July 2017. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition. The duties of the post will be mainstream initially, however may be subject to change. Previous experience of working with multi-grade classes in the junior end of the school desirable. Probation also desirable. Appointment to this position will be subject to vetting requirements as detailed and DES circular 0031/16 and OHS, current and continuing Teaching Council Registration and proof of qualifications.
