An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications via email only. Applications must be submitted by midnight on Wednesday 26th July. Interviews will be held on Thursday 24th August. Candidates submitting a PF1 form must do so at the time of application.
Applicants must have a minimum of Special Needs Assistant QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent. An additional qualification in Special Education, including autism and first aid is desirable. Knowledge and experience of supporting multiple children with different needs in a mainstream primary setting is desirable.
