An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

These positions are:
- 0.83 post (Infant day)
- Full day post

Minimum qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills circular 44/2014.
Appointment will be subject to vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
The positions may involve working with pupils in the mainstream and/ or ASD class setting or a combination of the two.
It is desirable that applicants have skills, experiences and qualifications in the area of Special Educational needs, including toileting and care needs.
