2 primary school teachers (mainstream, one year contracts) required in Espoo International School, Finland
Description:
Espoo International school is situated in Finland´s second city, close to the capital Helsinki. We are a Finnish state comprehensive school (grades 1 to 9...equivalent to 1st class to Junior cert in Ireland.) whose language of instruction is English.
Two vacancies have arisen in our primary school section for the coming autumn, both for a term of one year. (The classes in question are equivalent to 2nd and 4th class).
Applicants should be motivated, enthusiastic and experienced teachers (min 3 years) who would like to experience the much lauded Finnish educational system and work with a highly motivated international staff and student body. The school is a co-educational school and the classes are of mixed ability. Any applicants must be willing to develop the curriculum to suit the class and to also take part in extra curricular activities.
The school year runs from August 8th through until June 2nd (the contract for pay purposes is until July 31st.).
Applicants should enclose a current CV (electronic version) with their letter of application and be fully registered with the Irish Board of Education.
