Volunteer One to One support Tutor
Description:
Are you a Maths, English or Irish teacher? Would you like to use your skills as a Physics or Biology teacher to support a young person at Senior Cycle? Or supporting a First Year with a foreign language? Maybe Geography or History or another subject is your passion? Focus Ireland are looking for Post-Primary and Primary teachers to support a young person, aged 12 to 18, in weekly one to one support. If you can give 60 or 90 minutes' support time with additional travel time to an area convenient to you. your expertise could make such a difference to a young life. Typical support includes: completing homework; catching up with missed schoolwork; support in a subject that is new / challenging for the young person or also Study Skills. Like to sign up for a minimum of 12 weeks?
