These are temporary SNA posts subject to the schools requirements and as determined by the NCSE and the Department of Education and Skills. St
Gabriel's school caters for pupils aged 4 - 18 years who experience multiple disabilities. Details of 4 referees, 2 professional and 2 personal to be
included. Please mark envelope SNA Post Application. Details of Garda Vetting should also be provided. Standard Application form for SNA
posts.Experience in a Special School Setting Essential. Essential qualifications as per DES criteria for SNA, Circular 00037/2013. Specific
competencies required to meet the special educational needs of the pupils at St Gabriel's school are as follows Capability to fulfill the care needs of
children with complex physical needs and multiple disabilities essential. Experience of working with a multidisciplinary team essential. Experience of
working in a special school setting and working as part of a team providing care needs, ie toileting, feeding and using hoists essential. The posts
available are a mix of full time and 0.75 depending on NCSE sanction.
