Fairyhill Montessori School is seeking a Montessori teacher to join our well
established school in Bray, Co. Wicklow. This position is for maternity cover. The
role can either commence in May or June (Until June18) and so may suit a newly
qualified teacher. Contracted hours will be 8:15-12:45.
Salary
• €13- €17 an hour dependant on level of qualification and experience
Requirements
• The ideal candidate will have a level 7/8 in Montessori and 3 years teaching
experience
• Knowledge of Siolta, Aistear and the Early years regulations
• 2 written references
• Can work on their own initiative and as part of a team
Beneficial but not mandatory
• Experience with special needs
• Current first aid certificate
• Training in child protection
Key Responsibilities
• To guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring
environment
• To work in close cooperation with the manager and owner
• To assist in the planning and implementation of age appropriate stimulating
activities
• To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the preschool
• The teacher is responsible for preparing an environment in which the
furnishings and Montessori materials are complete and correspond to the
needs of the group
