An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management wished to invite expression of interest from teachers on the Supplementary Panel as a Special Class Teacher. St. John of God School is a special school that caters for pupils with moderate general learning disabilities, severe and profound general learning disabilities and pupils with autism and general learning disabilities. Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with ASD, moderate general learning disabilities, severe and profound general learning disabilities and challenging behaviour is desirable.
