An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Gabriel's Special School caters for pupils aged 4 to 18 years with severe/profound learning disabilities and very many have associated ASD. Relevant training and significant experience with challenging behaviour in a special school is essential. LAMH, PECS, ICT skills in assistive technologies and Behaviour Management training are desirable.
This is a permanent post subject to review by SENO.
