Title:
CTC Digital Media Instructor
Description:
Applicant must possess:
A recognised qualification in digital media (minimum diploma QQI Level 6)
Knowledge of a range of ICT and use of various social media platforms
Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience of working with young people
Knowledge and experience of delivering QQI level 3 & 4 modules in digital media, photo imaging, internet skills, film- making/animation and IT.
Prepare and maintain learner attendance, training and certification records
An ability to work as part of a team to include communicating with staff, board, parents/carers and other key CTC stakeholders
An ability to use Mac operating systems including various Mac applications i.e. iMovie and Adobe products
Willingness to support other staff with use of Technology in the CTC
Duties will include: Training, assessment and monitoring of learner course work in the relevant skills area to QQI level standards; supporting learners with creation of E-portfolio, reporting daily to the Centre Manager; direct supervision of learners; liaising with parents and guardians; assisting with the planning, development and implementation of CTC services within a Quality Assurance Framework and other duties as appropriate.
