Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is for a 0.5 post (16 hours per week).
It is sanctioned by the NCSE and subject to periodic review.
Applicants should be competent and experienced in working with children with additional needs. They should be willing to engage in appropriate CPD and work additional 'Croke Park' hours. Duties include (but are not confined to) care needs, movement breaks and supervising a child who poses a flight risk. Applicants should possess good ICT skills and be willing to support a child using assistive technology.
The successful candidate will be subject to current vetting and occupational health screening requirements.
