An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

There are two Part time posts advertised:
1. Infants hours Post
2.Part Time (0.5) post
Salary and conditions as per the Department of Education & Skills. This appointment is subject to Garda Vetting Clearance and sanction by the Department of Education and Skills. The position is subject to yearly review by the NCSE & SENO.
Desirable Criteria :The ideal candidate will have knowledge & experience of working as an SNA and experience in managing challenging behaviour. The understanding of Multi-Sensory Integration Programmes would be a distinct advantage. First Aid qualifications and computer competence would be highly desirable.

Willingness to work as part of a team & participate in school activities & a willingness to avail of further training.

Successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of pupils at all times.

A completed Panel Form1 (pf1) must be submitted with the applications if applicable. Garda vetting Clearance is mandatory for this position & medical fitness certificate from Medmarc, Occupational Health Screening, is also required.
Interviews will be held on week starting 7th August, 2018. Shortlisting will apply.

Suitable applicants may also be invited to join a substitute panel of SNAs in the school.
