An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Triest is a speical school for students aged 12 - 18 who have a diagnosis of Autism and learning disability moderate / mild. Applicants are required to have experience working with students with Autism in a special school or special class setting. Applicants should demonstrate initiative and flexibility and the ability to work well as part of a team within the ethos of the school. It is preferable that applicants have training in the management of challenging behaviour and have an understanding of a positive behaviour approach. Applicants will also be considered for fixed term temporary positions.
