Scoil Bhríde wishes to advertise the position of Deputy Principal commencing on Monday 3rd September 2018. Scoil Bhríde is a Catholic School, applicants for this position must have a certificate to teach R.E. We have 19 mainstream classes and 1 ASD class.
The following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
- An understanding and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school.
- Previous teaching experience
- Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of school-based initiatives.
- Previous experience in policy development.
Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and a certificate to to teach Religious Education.
Please include 3 signed copies of all documentation.
Envelopes should be clearly marked 'Deputy Principal Application'.
A minimum of three eligible applications are required for this competition to proceed.
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: Satisfactory references; Current and Continuing Teaching Council Registration; current Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
