Commitment: Minimum Six months
Hours: 90 minutes classes; Morning, Afternoon or Evening; Monday to Friday.
The aim of the Computer Centre is to provide individuals with computer skills, from introductory level to advanced, in a format which is easily understood by course participants. Our courses run during the day, morning and afternoon and also in the evening. Class size is small, we cater for eight students per class and this affords the opportunity of a more personal learning experience.
All of our programmes offer an opportunity for students to develop more confidence in themselves and in their skills as well as an improved sense of self worth through a better understanding of computers and general IT. Programs offered in the Training Centre range from introduction and beginners classes moving towards advanced computer application courses.
Training Provided
Induction training provided for the computer centre on practices and procedures, structures, curriculum and materials used in the classes.
Skills Required:
Excellent IT Skills
Teacher training an advantage but not necessary
Good communication and people skills
Understanding of community development
